Award-Winning Origins

Originally staged in 2019 as “Museum Pieces” for a limited run at the Tristan Bates Theatre in the heart of London’s West End, the play was awarded an Offie Commendation, and played to sold out audiences.

Now a fresh, revised version is coming to London’s newest, hottest Fringe Theatre in bustling, trendy Battersea Power Station.

The heart of Reality Bites lies in the team who shaped it. Get to know the artists bringing this bold, honest, and bitingly funny story to life.

  • Jamie has written, produced and directed four plays: A Fight at The Opera (Etcetera Theatre, 2014), Skewed Judgement (White Bear Theatre, 2017), Four Loyalty Cards (Tristan Bates Theatre, 2018) and Museum Pieces (Tristan Bates Theatre, 2019 - which received a Short-run OFFIE). During lockdown he collaborated with Broken Silence Theatre, and post-lockdown with Director's Cut Theatre and The Actor's Lounge. Jamie currently runs a bi-monthly Writers' Drop-In group in Covent Garden

  • Andy is an award winning filmmaker and director. Film credits include STRANGE WATERS and THE DAY OF THE SUN DOG (9ofCups Productions). He is currently in post production for his latest short PASS THE SALT with Toucan Roar Productions. Recent theatre directing credits include, BREAKING NEWS (Theatre Peckham) and DERRY BOYS (Theatre 503 - May/June 2025). Andy has directed for many new writing events at Park Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and Theatre 503.
